Shopify data needs translation
Products, variants, collections, customers, orders, discounts, pages, blogs, metafields, files, and app-owned data do not become WooCommerce data cleanly without mapping decisions.
Shopify to WooCommerce Migration
A Shopify to WooCommerce migration is not just an export and import. It is data mapping, URL strategy, WordPress architecture, plugin replacement, tracking validation, checkout QA, and a launch plan that protects search traffic.

Products, variants, collections, customers, orders, discounts, pages, blogs, metafields, files, and app-owned data do not become WooCommerce data cleanly without mapping decisions.
WooCommerce gives more permalink control than Shopify, which is useful for matching /products and /collections patterns. The risk is assuming WordPress rules, redirects, canonicals, and sitemaps will line up automatically.
Subscriptions, reviews, search, bundles, wholesale, email capture, fulfilment, tax, and checkout behaviour need a plugin plan or custom development before the store moves.
Shopify hides infrastructure. WooCommerce puts performance, backups, security, caching, plugin updates, staging, and checkout reliability back into the project scope.
The platform reality
Shopify keeps products and collections under fixed platform paths like /products/ and /collections/. WooCommerce runs on WordPress, so product, category, page, and blog URLs can be configured more deeply through permalink rules.
That flexibility can help preserve important Shopify URLs, but it also creates more ways to get the launch wrong. Hosting, plugins, caching, redirects, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, and checkout testing need to be designed together.
Our job is to make the reverse move controlled: Shopify data lands in the right WooCommerce structures, high-value URLs are preserved or redirected cleanly, and the WordPress stack is ready before traffic is moved.

Not a blind export
Shopify can export product data, and WooCommerce can import products by CSV. Those tools help, but they do not decide your permalink model, plugin stack, server setup, redirect strategy, app-data mapping, or checkout reliability.
We inspect what actually matters before quoting final scope: catalog size, variants, images, customer and order history, Shopify apps, collection rules, redirects, blog content, custom fields, search traffic, and the WooCommerce features your team expects after launch.
We crawl the Shopify store, review exported data paths, inspect apps and theme dependencies, and identify the products, URLs, collections, and content that carry SEO or revenue weight.
We decide what becomes a WooCommerce product, category, attribute, variation, page, post, plugin setting, custom field, or redirect before the build starts.
We set up WordPress and WooCommerce, migrate the approved data, rebuild the storefront, wire the plugin stack, and QA the full buying path.
We cut over with redirects, sitemap checks, analytics validation, checkout testing, and a post-launch crawl so broken paths are found quickly.

Send the Shopify URL and a rough sense of the catalog. If WooCommerce is the right move, we’ll scope the migration. If it is not, we’ll say that too.
